Every gallery image on a product page can have its own alt text field. Shopify product image alt text is how you describe each angle, colorway, and detail for Google and screen readers.

Where alt text lives
Products → select product → Media → click image → Alt text field → Save.
Alt attaches to each media item, not the product title alone.
